LSEC N100 vs ENG N125

In the second year of the Bachelor Program, if students are study an engineering course that includes 5 subjects: LSEC N100 – ENG N125 – EGEN N100 – LSMA N110 and LSSC N126. In this essay I will write about the most interesting courses for me which are LSEC N100 and ENG N125.

There are many similarities between these courses. The first similarity is that both of these courses have teachers speaking in English only. Another similarity is that more advanced writing habits are en forced. Finally, each class allows the student time to develop his second language skills.

However there are some differences at the same time. The first difference is that each course has deferent teacher. LSEC N100 teaches research and summary skills while ENG N125 teaches general essay writing. Another difference is there are twice as many ENG N125 classes as LSEC N100. A final difference is that there are two teachers for Eng N125.

So it can be seen that the two classes complement each other. Also it will develop in certain areas but still they have specializes.

Comparison between Bugatti Veyron and Porsche 911

In recent years, sport cars have been very common in many countries. In the Gulf region, sport cars are popular and used by the people. Among of these cars some of them are special and most liked between the users. In this report, two of these special cars will be compared in order to state the differences and similarities. These two cars are: Bugatti Veyron and Porsche 911.
There are some distinct similarities between Bugatti Veyron and Porsche 911. Because both Bugatti and Porsche are sport cars, they have many things in common. Firstly, both they are made in Germany and from there they were exporting for many countries in the world (Adams, Brown & Lienert, 2006). One similarity is that Porsche has the same number of doors with Bugatti and it’s about two doors. Another similarity is that neither Bugatti (Adams, et al, 2006)  nor Porsche (Renolds, 2007) is cheaper, so nobody have average salary can buy one of them. Porsche is as popular as Bugatti and these cars are similar in that they both have small size.
Although there are a number of similarities there are several differences between Bugatti Veyron and Porsche 911. The first difference is that Bugatti is more expensive than Porsche. Bugatti isn’t only expensive than Porsche, but also it’s the most expensive car in the world. Bugatti priced is $1,200,000 (Adams, et al, 2006) whilst Porsche priced is 140,000 or so (Renolds, 2007). Another difference is that Porsche is not as fast as Bugatti. It can change it speed from 0 – 60 MPH in 3.6 sec (Renolds, 2007) while Bugatti can change it speed in 2.5 sec (Adams, et al,  2006) only. Both of them are fast but Bugatti it’s faster than Porsche. The top speed in Bugatti it’s 253 mile and it has 1001 hp (Adams, et al, 2006) whereas Porsche has 192 mile and 480 hp (Renolds, 2007).
Anyone can see that Bugatti Veyron and Porsche 911 are similar in many ways also there are many differences between them. I prefer Bugatti Veyron because there are many reasons for this including. I want to be distinct from other people because few of people have Bugatti. You can get comfort in Bugatti more than Porsche when you are set in it or drive it. The last reason is that Bugatti style is nice more than Porsche.

E-portfolios vs. paper

Several years ago, there is one kind for save the information. Every student are used a portfolio to keep his essays. With the development of technology and spread the computers at many colleges. Some teachers think about a new way because many student were forget to bring it when they have class and it’s lost from some of them. This new way to keep it’s about E-portfolio. I’m going to compare and contrast between E-portfolios and paper.

There are distinct similarities between E-portfolios and paper. One similarity is that both of them we are use in the second year at college. We are use E-portfolio in ENG N125 and paper in LSEC N100. Another similarity is that the E-portfolio can save and arrange your task, also the paper can do the same job. Yet similarity is that both of them will be useful for you and other students in study.

Although there are some of similarities, there are a number of differences. The first difference is that the E-portfolios are depend on the technology while the papers not need electricity and internet, so the E-portfolios are development whereas the papers aren’t. Another difference is that the papers aren’t need computer whilst you can’t check your E-portfolio if you haven’t computer. Both of them can keep your essays but the papers keep limited number of essays while the E-portfolios can save what you want of essays. Finally, the portfolios are safe more than the papers. Such as, maybe the papers will get wet or cut.

Overall, the differences outweigh similarities. However, this is a very interesting subject and I think that the portfolios are benefit more than the papers because it’s safe, development and easy to use than the papers.
